A video of Sparkle artist Shuvee Etrata letting her pet dog pee in a condominium parking lot drew criticism online.
The clip was uploaded to a Reddit community, where it was alleged that the incident occurred before Shuvee joined “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1” in 2025.
Before her “PBB” stint, she was already active in showbiz, having appeared in various GMA shows and projects.
Meanwhile, the video showed Shuvee admitting that she was wrong for allowing her pet dog to urinate in a condominium parking lot, since it was prohibited.
“Alam kong mali ‘to eh, pero ginagawa ko pa rin siya. Kasi bawal sa condo ‘to eh, na umihi. Alam ko talagang papagalitan—ang dami niyang ihi, guys. Dapat sa seventh floor ko siya dinala, alam ko kinakausap ko sarili ko ngayon,” she said.
Shuvee then called her dog, Yoda, telling him to “stop” what he was doing.
“Naii-stress ako… tara na, Yoda, baka mahuli pa tayo dito,” she said to the camera.

“Sobrang hate ko ‘yung mga pet owners na kung saan saan pinapa-ihi ang alagang aso. Konsiderasyon naman para sa mga other tenants at condo housekeepers. Ang hirap kaya tanggalin ng amoy niyan,” the Instagram user said.

Condominium policies on pets vary depending on management. Some prohibit tenants from keeping animals, while others allow pets under certain conditions.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Animal Welfare Society said that responsible pet ownership means upholding a “shared sense of responsibility in public spaces” and safeguarding such spaces “by respecting boundaries and protecting the health and well-being of both people and animals.”
The organization added that advocating for animal welfare does not justify disregarding rules that help humans and animals “coexist peacefully and respectfully.”
“Let’s continue to work together to foster safer environments for each other and move forward with empathy, understanding, and a shared commitment to the communities we all share,” PAWS said.
