“Move over Mary Grace Piattos, talo ka ni Mico Harina. P70,000 lang binigay kay Mary Grace Piattos para pambili ng ‘medicine’.
Ang HARI ng confidential funds pala ay si MICO HARINA na binigyan ni Inday Lustay ng P295,000 pambili ng suka, este, ‘supplies’,” Political commentator Jesus Falcis wrote.
Political scientist Richard Heydarian, meanwhile, juxtaposed screenshots of the reported aliases with the caption:

Actor Bart Guingona also criticized the alleged use of such names.
“Nakakagigil lang isipin na ang mga pangalang inimbento nila tulad ng Piattos at Cathy Ting at Andy Lim ay joke para sa kanila pero pera ng bayan ang pinaglaruan,” he said.
House prosecutor and ML Party-list Rep. Leila de Lima likewise revisited questions surrounding the identities of the reported recipients.
“SINO-SINO NGA BA ANG MGA NAKATANGGAP NG CONFIDENTIAL FUNDS? 🤔” she wrote.
She noted that names such as Mary Grace Piattos, Milky Secuya, and Kokoy Villamin had previously surfaced during congressional inquiries and were among those that, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority, could not be verified in the civil registry.
“Matagal na nating tinatanong ito pero hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin masagot-sagot,” De Lima said, adding that the impeachment trial would seek to determine whether the listed names were aliases and whether legitimate beneficiaries actually received the funds.
She also cited Joint Circular No. 2015-01, saying that while sensitive details involving confidential funds may be withheld from public disclosure, sufficient documentation should still be presented to the Commission on Audit to justify the expenditures.
The proceedings also fueled memes and jokes on X (formerly Twitter), where users compared several of the reported aliases to snacks and wordplays.
The new disclosures during the impeachment trial have once again placed the reported aliases under public scrutiny, with many online users questioning how government funds were documented and disbursed.
One X user wrote:
“Piattos
Nova
Harina
Patty Ting (Patty sa burger)
Fiona Biong (Panabong)
Aleandro Pikit (Pikit)
Andy Lim (andilim/madilim)
Grabe no? parang laro-laro lang sa kanya yung pera ng taumbayan. Ang kapal talaga ng mukha mo sararat!”
Another X user joked:
“lol may pamilya pala si MaryGrace Piattos asawa ba o anak o kapatid 🤡”
Meanwhile, another asked:
“May botika ba si Mary Grace Piatos kasi pumayag siya na gamot ang reward at hindi cash?”
The name Mary Grace Piattos first gained widespread public attention during a House hearing in 2024 after lawmakers questioned the identities of individuals listed as recipients of confidential funds.
The alias drew attention because many observers noted its resemblance to the names of a popular restaurant chain and a well-known snack brand.

Private prosecutor Lorna Kapunan said the prosecution is still trying to locate Mary Grace Piattos, after records under the name did not appear in the Philippine Statistics Authority’s database.
“Hinahanap pa namin e. Lahat na ata ng Mary Grace nakainan ko na e, hindi ko pa siya nakikita hanggang ngayon,” Kapunan said in a video interview posted by GMA News.
