Philippines upwardly revises Q1 GDP to 5.8% y/y

MANILA —The Philippines has revised up annual gross domestic product (GDP) PHGDP=ECI growth in the first quarter to 5.8% from the previously reported 5.7%, the statistics agency said on Wednesday.

The government will release second-quarter GDP data at around 0200 GMT on Thursday.
