‘Slay your enemies!’: Pia Wurtzbach sends ‘good luck message’ to Celeste Cortesi ahead of Miss Universe coronation

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach created a TikTok video to wish Philippines’ Celeste Cortesi good luck during the 71st Miss Universe pageant.

Pia lip-synced to a popular sound on the video-sharing service as her message to Cortesi ahead of the competition.

“Yes, queen, slay! Slay your enemies! Raise up your army! Take your rightful place upon the throne!” the TikTok audio said.

In the video, Pia placed a text that reads: “A message to our girl Miss Universe Philippines Celeste Cortesi.”

She also added the following in the caption: “Had this in my drafts for so long. Good luck to our girl, Celeste Cortesi!”

The video has so far garnered 1.6 million views and 328,600 likes on the platform.

Pageant blogger @forthephilippines also shared this video on Instagram.

“Queen @piawurtzbach‘s message to our Queen @celeste_cortesi. Ang kulit mo talaga Queen P! Ibang level magpakita ng suporta. Labyu!” the caption reads.

In the comments section, Celeste’s supporters hoped that the blessing from Pia can help the Philippine candidate win the country’s fifth Miss Universe crown.

“May the blessings rub on Celeste. Strong girl, very Strong,” one user commented.

“The ever-supportive Queen P. Slay Queen Celeste,” another user cheered.

Celeste is up against more than 80 candidates for this year’s edition of the international pageant.

So far, the 25-year-old model from Pasay City has stunned audiences with her performances during the preliminaries and the national costume show.

The coronation night of the competition is currently airing on January 15 (Manila time).
