Kyle Viray was once again tagged in another allegation of physical abuse involving a young woman months after he was excluded from his university under the same complaint.

The woman recounted in a now-deleted post how he allegedly abused her when they were together.

She claimed that she was aware of Viray being involved in incidents of physical abuse before. However, he reportedly told her that it was all “made up” and people had only wanted to extort money from his family.

Her perception eventually changed in the course of their relationship.

The woman alleged that Viray had threatened to inflict wounds on her face so that no one would like her. He also reportedly choked her when she told him that she would meet with her cousins.

She decided to ignore his actions but by the last week of December 2018, she was once again allegedly abused.

She recounted that Viray had asked to see her in a supposed attempt to fix their relationship but got humiliated instead.

The woman wrote how she was shouted at, punched in the head, and how her phone was forcibly taken from her when she tried to call her father to fetch her.

She posted pictures of her wounded arm but claimed that she wasn’t able to post everything since Viray had thrown her phone in a creek the day they argued.

She is the third female to have aired physical abuse complaints against him.

History of physical abuse

Kyle Viray was previously involved in an incident where he physically abused a fellow Biology student from the University of Santo Tomas while they were in a relationship. Accounts of it initially surfaced on social media in July 2018.

The student shared that Viray’s bruises and beatings led her to suffer “severe hematoma” all over her head and body. She also suffered “chest trauma” where her ribs got bruised.

Viray was sanctioned by the UST College of Science’s Student Welfare and Development Board with 250 hours of community service and was barred from attending the college’s graduation rites.

The Biology student also filed a complaint against him in the prosecutor’s office in Manila for violation of the Republic Act 9262 or the “Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.”

However, no reports or updates about the case has surfaced since.

In August 2018, Viray was once again tagged in another incident of physical abuse that resulted in him to be excluded from UST.

An accounting student reported that she was abused by the young man in August and September 2017.

The university found him guilty anew of violating UST’s Code of Conduct and Discipline. This prompted him to be excluded and “disqualified” from further enrolling in any of the university’s programs.

Under the “Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004,” inflicting violence on women can merit one to be imprisoned and be fined for up to P300,000. Sanctions also apply to those involved in a dating relationship.
