MANILA —The Philippine government posted a P67.3 billion ($1.21 billion) budget surplus PHBUD=ECI in April, the Bureau of the Treasury said on Tuesday.
It brought year-to-date budget deficit to 411.5 billion pesos, 79% larger than the 229.9 billion pesos shortfall for the same period a year ago.
