— President Ferdinand Marcos Jr has instructed heads of companies owned or controlled by his government to submit “courtesy” resignations, his office said on Thursday.

The instruction follows a similar call for department secretaries to submit their resignations in a move to reenergise his administration in the second half of his presidency.
