A behind-the-scenes video from the UK premiere of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has amused fans after the well-loved Filipino fast food chain mascot was spotted in the background.
The clip, shared by fan account Tom Holland Brasil on X (formerly Twitter), shows lead stars Tom Holland and Zendaya being escorted along the white carpet for a photo opportunity at the film’s London premiere.
As the actors made their way to the venue, eagle-eyed viewers noticed the Jollibee mascot peeking through the window of a nearby Jollibee branch while enthusiastically waving.

The video was filmed with Jollibee Leicester Square as its backdrop. The branch is situated near the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square, located right in the heart of London’s entertainment district where major film premieres are regularly held.
Many online users found the mascot’s appearance adorable, with some joking that it was another addition to “Jollibee core,” a term often used by Filipino internet users for the mascot’s amusing and playful moments.
“Hahaha ang cute ni Jollibee dun sa bintana,” a Pinoy commented
“Oo nga HAHAHAHA add na naman sa Jollibee core yan siya,” another replied.
“Bida-bida talaga sya!” an X account wrote.
“Gang diyan nadala [‘yung] kakulitan hahaha,” a Pinoy commented.
“Bida bida to the core!!!” another wrote.
At one point, the mascot could also be seen holding onto the top of its head, apparently to keep the oversized costume head from slipping off, adding to the lighthearted moment that caught fans’ attention online.
“Sana kasya ulo ni Jabee,” a Pinoy said.
“Bakit nakahawak sa ulo?” another commented.
The UK premiere of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” took place on Wednesday, July 29, at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in London, with Tom, Zendaya, Florence Pugh and Marisa Tomei among the cast members in attendance.
The film has also enjoyed a strong start in the Philippines, recording the biggest opening day for a “Spider-Man” movie at the local box office. It has grossed P95.93 million on its opening day, setting a new record for the biggest opening-day gross for a Sony Pictures film and the highest post-pandemic opening-day box office in the Philippines.
