Square Roots grows food year round in the heart of New York City and is training “entrepreneurial farmers” to grow food inside shipping containers in an effort to revolutionize farming for an ever-more-urban world.
Among the trainees is an investment banker who used to spend all day at his desk but now cultivates his own farm inside a 40-foot shipping container on a parking lot in Brooklyn.
