Army allocates P56M for construction of counter-terror training complex in Nueva Ecija

MANILA, Philippines — With the military taking a tougher stance against terror threats, the Philippine Army announced that it would be allocating P55.6 million for the construction of a “counter-terrorism training complex” at Fort Magsaysay in Palayan, Nueva Ecija.

Winning bidders are required to complete the facility within 180 calendar days, PA Special Bids and Awards Committee-3 chair Major Gen. Joselito M. Reyes said in a bid bulletin posted on the Army website.

Bidding will start on Dec. 4, 11 a.m., at the headquarters of the Special Operations Command in Fort Magsaysay. Interested bidders must have completed a similar project, according to the Army.
