MANILA — The Philippine Coast Guard accused China on Monday of conducting illegal marine scientific research activities within the country’s exclusive economic zone.
The PCG said it has deployed a vessel and aircraft to challenge and escort the Chinese research vessel Tan Suo 3 out of the EEZ, after it was detected entering it on May 1.
