MANILA – Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev are coming to Manila to attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Meetings next month.
“United Nations Secretary General (António Guterres) has (also) confirmed. European Union and Canada have been asked as friends of chair,” Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano told reporters on the sidelines of the High-Level Forum on ASEAN Thursday.
Cayetano said preparations are being undertaken to ensure the safety and security of all delegates.
