MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Sony recently announced that its much-awaited super mid-ranger, the Xperia XA1 Plus, will be available in the Philippines beginning November 10.
The smartphone was first unveiled at the IFA in Berlin, Germany, the latest addition to Sony’s mid-range line-up as an affordable smartphone that packs impressive mobile entertainment and photography features.
The Xperia XA1 Plus has a 23-megapixel, high-resolution rear-camera with a large 1/2.3-inch Exmor for mobile sensor. It sports an incredibly fast, yet accurate Hybrid Autofocus that has a 0.6-second launch to capture capability. While the smartphone’s 8-megapixel camera with a 23-mm wide-angle lens ensures to capture everything or everyone in the frame.
In addition, the XA1 Plus 5.5 edge-to-edge, Full-HD Display is like having a small TV; watching your favorite series or movies is much more enjoyable with its sharp images in rich colors. And with Sony’s ClearAudio+, this music technology makes playlists sound awesome either on headphones or via loudspeaker.
When it comes to battery life, the XA1 Plus is powered by a 3430 mAh battery and supported by the phone’s Stamina Mode, which make heavy usage not a problem as it manages the energy drain on the battery.
With battery size already an advantage, The XA1 Plus is even more power efficient thanks to its MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor. It helps regulate power usage of apps while giving the user a seamless experience watching videos, play games, or the usual social media browsing.
For an added layer of security, the XA1 Plus is fitted with a fingerprint sensor on its power button. It also easily matches on-the-go lifestyles as its sleek, rounded form, and narrow borders make it less bulky, fitting easily in a pocket or slides right inside a bag.
The XA1 Plus comes in four stunning matte finish colors: Gold, Blue, Pink, and Black. This mid-range phone will be available from November 10 at all Sony Centers and authorized retailers nationwide for P16,990.
