The crocodile prop for GMA’s upcoming “Lolong” series gained some international fans on Reddit.

A Redditor posted a video clip of the animatronic prop on the forum called r/AbsoluteUnits, a community with 1.2 million members.

The post was captioned with: “What in the world…”

The video showed the huge reptile tied to a moving truck. Some people who posed as workers, meanwhile, seemed to guard and lounge around it.

The Redditor did not mention that the video was a publicity stunt for an upcoming show in the Philippines.

The post has since earned more than 6,000 upvotes on the platform.

The subreddit is a place where members post a video or photo about anything that has an extraordinary size.

A text was written on its banner, which reads: “Lads that you’re in awe at the size of.”

Several Redditors on the discussion section were indeed awestruck by the crocodile’s size.

“’What the f***?!’- This dinosaur,” one Reddit user said.

“Yooo! Is that Gustave?!” another user asked.

The Redditor was referring to a mythological large crocodile in Burundi named Gustave.

“They taking that monster back to Neverland,” a Redditor said.

Some users, meanwhile, expressed concern for the crocodile’s safety.

“I hope they’re just relocating it and not hurting it,” one Redditor said.

This post was later cross-posted to nine other communities on Reddit.

One of these is the subreddit r/ArcherFX, a community for fans of the 2009 American animated series “Archer.”

The Redditor who cross-posted the video on this community made up a description for the large fake crocodile.

“Physically unchanged for a hundred million years, because it’s the perfect killing machine. A half-ton of cold-blooded fury, the bite force of 20,000 Newtons, and stomach acid so strong it can dissolve bones and hoofs,” the user said.

This cross-post garnered 450 upvotes.

According to GMA, the 22-feet animatronic crocodile is named “Dakila” that will debut in “Lolong,” a new Kapuso action-adventure series with a star-studded cast.

The network has yet to release a date for its premiere.

In a previous report, GMA shared the amount of manpower and technology needed to operate Dakila.

“His body is made of fiberglass and his skin is made of silicone. Fourteen people are needed to operate his hydraulic system and make him move,” the report said.

Several motorists and Filipinos were also previously amazed and even tricked by how authentic-looking the reptile prop is.

It was paraded on June 15 around Antipolo, Rizal and Marikina City until it reached the GMA Network headquarters in Quezon City.
