Chinese one-two in women’s diving
Chinese diver Wang Han claimed gold in the women’s one-meter springboard, improving on her second-place finish in the 2014 Games.
Chen Yiwen secured a one-two finish for China with a silver, while South Korea’s Kim Su-ji took bronze.
South Korea’s Ha completes sailing treble
South Korea’s Ha Jee-min clinched a third consecutive Asiad gold in the men’s sailing laser standard at the Indonesia National Sailing Centre with a net score of 21.8.
Khairulnizam Mohd Afendy of Malaysia took silver, while Jun Han Ryan Lo of Indonesia got bronze.
Thailand’s Angsuthasawit races to Keirin triumph
Jai Angsuthasawit secured Thailand’s first track cycling gold since 1970 after winning the men’s keirin final.
Japan’s Yudai Nitta finished three seconds behind Angsuthasawit to claim silver and Malaysian Mohd Azizulhasni Awang clinched bronze.
Hong Kong’s Lee retains sprint gold
Hong Kong cyclist Lee Wai Sze retained the women’s track sprint gold medal after beating South Korean Lee Hye-jin in the final.
Lee’s compatriot Cho Sunyoung beat China’s Zhong Tianshi to win the bronze final.
Hong Kong claim men’s madison event
Hong Kong cyclists Cheung King Lok and Leung Chun Wing won the men’s first ever madison final to be held at the Asian Games.
South Korea’s Im Jae-yeon and Park Sang-hoon won silver while Japan’s Eiya Hashimoto and Shunsuke Imamura claimed bronze.
Taiwan’s Chao clinches roller skate gold
Taiwanese roller skater Chao Tsucheng won the men’s 20km race with a time of 33 minutes, 51.418 seconds followed by South Koreans Choi Gwangho and Son Geunseong.
Chao won his nation’s fourth roller skating gold medal at the Asian Games, making Taiwan the most successful country in the event.
South Korea win first madison title
South Korean cycling duo An Seon-Jin and Kim You-ri have won the inaugural women’s madison gold medal with 76 points.
Hong Kong’s Pang Yao and Yang Qianyu took silver while Chinese pair Liu Jiali and Wang Xiaofei won bronze.
Japan win third consecutive women’s triathlon gold
Yuko Takahashi won the women’s triathlon, marking the third consecutive Asian Games where a Japanese athlete has captured the event.
Takahashi recorded a time of one hour, 59 minutes and 29 seconds to add to her 2017 Asian Championships triumph, while China’s Zhong Mengying finished almost two minutes behind to take silver and Macau’s Hoi Long took bronze.

Gold medals are on offer across 11 sports, including track cycling, diving, sailing and judo, on the 14th day of the 18th Asian Games.
The women’s football and hockey finals will be held on a partly sunny Friday in Jakarta, with the temperature around 31 degrees Celsius (88F), while the men’s handball final is also on the schedule.
