Philippines cash remittances up 3.1% y/y in July

 Cash remittances rose 3.1% to $3.08 billion in July from a year earlier, the Philippine central bank said on Monday.

For January to July, cash remittances sent through banks by millions of Filipinos living and working abroad increased by 2.9% from the same period a year earlier to $19.33 billion, it added.
