It seems like luck on the side of content creator and pharmacist Arshie Larga after he met South Korean rapper and singer CL, the leader of girl group 2NE1, on a plane ride from Manila.
In a video posted on his social media accounts, Arshie shared his encounter with CL.
Arshie took a selfie with CL and thanked her for the opportunity.
“Thank you so much! I hope you enjoyed the Philippines,” Arshie told CL.
The 2NE1 member responded: “I did. So much.”
Arshie once again thanked CL.
His politeness amused Filipinos online.
“Kinabog mo yung mga FA sa pag-thank you,” content creator Charuth said.
“ANG POWER PO but very Tourism Sec ka pa rin po dito,” an online user wrote on Instagram.
“Ang bongga ng, ‘I hope you enjoy the Ph’. As an ambassador ka dyan, Mhie,” another commented.
Others were envious and kilig of Arshie’s rare encounter with a Kpop star.
“NAIIYAK AKOOOO JUST IMAGINING HAVING TO MEET THE LEGENDARY LEADER OF 2NE1” a TikTok user commented.
“ARSHIEEEE OMG YOU WERE SO LUCKY !!!! LOVE THIS INTERACTION SO MUCH,” an online user wrote.
“Arshie ‘Pinagpala’ Larga,” a Blackjack commented.
“Grabe prayer reveal po,” a fan also said.
In a comment on his TikTok post, Arshie shared how accommodating CL was.
“Skl. Dapat autograph lang ang hihingin ko but di gumana yung pen ko, so sabi ko na lang kung baka pwede selfie AT NAG-AGREE AGAD SYAAAA😭😭😭 sobrang bait!”
CL was in the country for their sold-out two-day “Welcome Back” Asia Tour at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on November 16 and 17.
The group delighted their fans with their performance of Sandara Park’s hit Filipino novelty song “In Or Out”.
