For the first time in its history, Miss Universe Philippines 2026 is taking its delegates off the runway and into the sports arena with the launch of the Miss Universe Philippines Sports Fest 2026.

Scheduled for March 17 at a venue yet to be announced, the event will feature badminton, pickleball, and Pilates, activities designed to test the delegates’ agility, endurance, and focus. Organizers said the initiative also aims to promote teamwork and camaraderie among the candidates, emphasizing that preparation for the crown goes beyond stage presence.

“This year we’ll do something very exciting, and it will not only get them outside but to be active as well. We’re going to have the Miss Universe Philippines Sports Fest,” Voltaire Tayag, executive vice president of Miss Universe Philippines, said.

The Sports Fest comes as the pageant continues its partnership with wellness brand Jell Life, which supports programs focused on overall well-being and fitness for the delegates. Their partnership was renewed with a signing early this month.

Organizers said activities leading up to coronation night will continue to highlight strength, teamwork and holistic preparation for the global stage.

Apart from the Sports Fest, the event recently recognized the delegates’ style and confidence, awarding five participants as the Top 5 Most Stylish: Allyson Hetland (Pampanga), Zestah Shalom Espinosa (Iloilo City), Jenrose Javier (Sultan Kudarat), Lyneree Montero-Yodong (Mountain Province) and Marian Arellano (Tarlac).
