MANILA — The Philippine government posted a P42.7 billion ($733.55 million) budget surplus (PHBUD=ECI) in April, the Bureau of the Treasury said on Thursday.
That brought the year-to-date budget deficit to P229.9 billion, versus the P204.1 billion a year ago.
