Philippines posts $4.1 bln trade deficit for December

 The Philippines posted a trade deficit PHTBAL=ECI of $4.1 billion for December, preliminary official data showed on Friday.

Imports PHIMP=ECI in December fell 1.7% to $9.79 billion from a year earlier, while exports PHEXP=ECI shrank 2.2% to $5.66 billion, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.
