“This is me now.”

Seven months after rescuing a stray kitten in the airport, drama actress Jodi Sta. Maria shared an update about the feline who has since captured social media’s attention.

The actress on Monday, July 10 posted a picture of Naia (pronounced as Na-ya) taken in their kitchen, adding that it is his “favorite spot.”

“Good morning. This is me now,” Jodi wrote on Twitter.

She added that Naia was on her cooktop.

In the picture, it can be seen that the feline is already sporting a light blue collar with a bell.

The “Unbreak My Heart” star’s update has earned over 3,500 likes on the microblogging platform so far, with some Twitter users commenting on how amazed they are about the rescued cat’s “glow up.”

“Oh, wow! Naia’s so beautiful. The glow up,” a Filipino commented with a purple heart emoji.

“Grabe, bilis ng panahon, ate! Sobrang healthy-looking na ni Naia ngayon compared nung unang beses mo/namin siyang nakita. Nakakatuwa,” another online user wrote.

“Good morning po, Ms. JODI and to the very handsome [big boy] NAIA. Super big na [siya] at so healthy looking,” commented another Pinoy.

Last July 5, Jodi shared that Naia had turned seven months old.

Prior to that, her last update about the rescued feline on the platform was on May 2, when she posted a picture of Naia looking up at the camera.

Naia used to be the stray kitten that Jodi encountered at Terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last January.

According to her, the cat appeared to be “asking for humans to feed and help” him, adding that the passengers’ carts were bumping him.

Her adoption story captured social media users’ attention at that time.
