OPM artists Juan Karlos, Zack Tabudlo and Adie ushered in the new year with a collaboration for a fast food chain anthem.
The OPM icons teamed up with KFC Philippines for the launch of their track titled “KFC: Nothing Comes Close”, which showcases their talent and the sounds of today’s generation.
The anthem is a celebration of the fast food chain’s popular “finger-lickin’ good taste.”
The music journey of the anthem started in May 2024 with the KFC Kentucky Town: Music and Arts Festival event held at the SM MOA Concert Grounds. The event drew 9,000 attendees.
“At KFC, our mission is simple and that is to ensure that each experience with our brand is as memorable as the taste itself. As we continue to grow and evolve, one thing will always remain constant: KFC’s iconic, finger-lickin’ good taste which is loved by Filipinos everywhere and we want to get that message across with the release of our newest song: ‘KFC:
Nothing Comes Close,'” Charmaine Pamintuan, chief marketing officer of KFC Philippines, said.
Aside from the track, the fast food chain also released a music video for the flavorful hit which featured the rising P-Pop girl group Kaia.
This can be viewed on KFC Philippines’ official social media platforms Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and X. The Facebook version has so far garnered 48,000 views, 2,500 reactions and over 740 comments.
Fans lauded the OPM artists for their new track.
“Magagaling na mga singer,” a Facebook user said.
“LSS to the max! Galing nila,” another said.
