MANILA — Cash remittances rose 2.6% to $2.91 billion in September from a year ago, the Philippine central bank said on Wednesday.
Cash remittances sent through banks in the first nine months of the year reached $24.5 billion, up 2.8% from the same period last year, it said in a statement.
