The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) on Wednesday, August 5, warned the public against fraudulent social media posts claiming that portions of the CCP Complex in Pasay City are for sale.
It said this included a listing for a supposed 23.8-hectare property.
The state-run cultural institution stressed that CCP properties are government-owned assets and are “NOT FOR SALE.”
“The CCP has not authorized or accredited any broker, agent, or representative to negotiate or sell its properties,” the institution said.
The CCP added that any documents, sketch plans, or listing titles being circulated online for this purpose are “unauthorized and fraudulent.”
The public was advised not to engage with individuals or entities making such representations.
“If you encounter similar listings or have been approached by anyone claiming to sell government-owned properties, please report the matter immediately through the CCP’s official contact channels,” the institution said.
