CABANATUAN CITY, Philippines — Six suspected drug peddlers, including two parent-and-child pairs, were captured in separate operations in Nueva Ecija province by the provincial police special operations group late Monday night.
In Barangay Dicarma, Cabanatuan City, Fe Aguilar Hayag, 62, and her son Jayson, 42, yielded 15 small sachets of suspected crystal meth, or shabu, and the marked P500 bill used in the sting against them.
In San Jose City, Marfe Ganayo Sr., 62, and his son Marfe Jr., 42, were collared in a buy-bust in Barangay Caanawan. Police seized 11 sachets of shabu and marked money.
In Purok Centro, Brangay Dicarma, Cabanatuan, authorities also arrested Raingel Masinsin, 27, as he sold drugs to an undercover policeman.
