An ABS-CBN worker called out the piracy of the network’s latest suspense-thriller series “Linlang” on the internet.

Eric John Salut, an ad and promo head for publicity at ABS-CBN, reposted an X (formerly Twitter) user’s post about the unauthorized distribution of the series’ episodes through social media.

“Sana ‘wag naman ganito. Isipin [niyo] ang pinaghirapan ng actors and [production] to this napakagandang serye ta’s ayan lang, i-copyright [niyo] lang sa Facebook? Kaya ‘di umuunlad Pinas [Pilipinas],” the user commented.

It was in response to Eric’s appeal to “mass report” now-unavailable links on Facebook which reportedly featured full episodes of the series.

“Please help me MASS REPORT, please po??? #LinlangOnPrime,” he previously said.

Some users shared other posts which featured more unauthorized links to the series’ episodes.

“Here’s another one. I have reported this as well to kontrapirata@abs-cbn.com,” an online user wrote in response to Eric’s post.

“Linlang” is streaming exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories.

The ABS-CBN series stars an ensemble cast featuring Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino and JM de Guzman, as well as the talents of Maricel Soriano, Jaime Fabregas, Raymond Bagatsing, Albie Casiño, Jake Ejercito, Heaven Peralejo and Anji Salvacion, among others.

Directed by FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin, the story revolves around boxer-turned-seaman Victor Lualhati (Paulo Avelino) in his quest to uncover the truth behind his wife Juliana’s (Kim Chiu) infidelity.

As Victor digs deeper, he discovers that there is more at play than just a cheating spouse and realizes that the woman he loved and married is not who she seems.

“Linlang” drops new episodes on Prime Video every Thursday.
