EXO member Lay Zhang noticed a Filipino fan wearing a wedding gown while holding a Philippine flag during his concert in Malaysia.

All the way from the Philippines, Audi Papa, an EXO fan since 2014, flew to Malaysia to attend Lay’s Grand Line 2: Infinite Lands concert on Saturday, October 15. She brought a white gown for this trip.

The 25-year-old fan said she has been dreaming of wearing a gown at Lay’s concert since she was 19.

“I want to fulfill the dream I made when I was still a young xingmi. I promised my younger self that someday I’ll wear a wedding gown on a Yixing con, and that’s what I did last weekend,” she said in a tweet

Xingmi refers to the fans of Lay.

Aside from fulfilling her dream, Audi’s photo was also liked by Lay on Twitter.

Asked what she felt when she was noticed by the Chinese idol, Audi said, “Nanginginig, naiiyak, at sobrang saya. Kasi makita ko pa nga lang sya masaya na ako and sobrang it was a fulfillment on my end when I saw him rising up the stage sa concert, what more ung nilike nya ung tweet ko.”

She said she was not expecting to be noticed by Lay since the idol is not active on Twitter.

“I was just sharing my experience on the tweet kasi I really experienced a lot of [judgment forz wearing the gown, they probably thought na I was wearing it because I was delusional and I want to marry Yixing. But sa totoo lang I just want to fulfill a promise I made to my younger self,” Audi said in an interview with Interaksyon.

“Probably I was past the age or the maturity na din of wanting to marry him, I just want to fulfill that promise para sa sarili ko,” she added.

“Basta ang masasabi ko lang na masaya ako na naalala ako ni Yixing and alam nya na taga-Pilipinas ako. Na marami nagmamahal sa kanya dito sa Pilipinas at nagaantay na bumalik sya,” Audi said.

Audi said she was hoping that Lay’s Grand Line 2 concert tour will have a stop in Manila.

In an Instagram live on Wednesday, October 19, Lay responded to the request of a Filipino fan for him to stage a concert in the Philippines.

“Philippines, okay got it got it,” Lay responded.

Despite this response, the star has yet to make an official announcement about his possible concert in the country.

The Chinese idol is scheduled to hold a concert at The Warfield in San Francisco on November 20.

Lay last visited the Philippines with his group EXO for the “Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert” in 2013.
