Filipino fans of Taylor Swift were saddened and dismayed after the Philippines was not included in her international tour stops for “Eras Tour.”

Taylor on June 21 released the schedule of her massive world tour for the rest of the year and until September 2024. She also posted the additional dates on her social media accounts.

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY,” her post reads.

“I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year on these new international dates!” she added.

Based on the schedule, Singapore and Japan are the only countries in Asia included in Taylor’s stops.

Moreover, Singapore is also the only Southeast Asian nation on the list.

Sadness and dismay filled Pinoy Swifties, Taylor’s fandom name, after finding out that Manila was not included in her updated tour stops.

They expressed their reactions on social media.

Swifties Philippines, the fan group that organized Taylor fan events in the country, expressed how heartbroken they are on their Facebook account.

“This tour announcement is truly heartbreaking…we don’t know if there’s still hope…but still,” the group said.

“To every Filipino Swifties who’s putting their hearts and efforts to show how much we love Taylor Swift and her music, we still have each other,” it added.

The group then tried to cheer their members up despite feeling upset.

“There are no wasted efforts— only fun memories, friendships, and bonds, and to all the gatherings we made, we had the time of our lives, and we will still continue to make more unforgettable experiences as Swifties,” the group said.

A fan account on Twitter @TSwiftBirthday, meanwhile, shared a video that showed how loud the Manila crowd was during Taylor’s “Red Tour” in the country.

This was her last performance for the Filipino audience.

“The way Taylor never came back to the Philippines after singing ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ as a closing track on ‘Red Tour Manila,’” the user tweeted.

Some fans also expressed their sentiments in the form of reaction gifs.

Former Miss Universe Philippines 2020 candidate Ayn Bernos also joined in the chorus of dismay online.

Ayn quote-retweeted a fan’s post who aired his frustration at Taylor.

Taylor’s Twitter handle was also tagged on the post.

“Sobrang unfair. Alam mo bang kami nagbubuhat ng streams mo globally. Kada labas mo ng album laging nagbrebreak ng records dito. Wala kaming pake sa stage. Magdala ka lang ng gitara ayos na. Kami kakanta para sayo, @taylorswift13,” the user tweeted.

“WE WANT ERAS TOUR MANILA,” he added.

In Ayn’s quote-retweet, she said: “Woke up to this news. Bakit naman Mareng Taylor?”

As of writing, the keywords “Taylor,” “Philippines,” and “Filo Swifties” landed on the trending topics of Twitter Philippines.

Filipino fans have been clamoring for the multi-awarded artist to return to the Philippines since last year.

According to Spotify’s data last year, Quezon City in Manila was among Taylor’s Top Five Listeners on the streaming platform.
