Philippines June trade deficit at $4.3 billion

 The Philippines posted a trade deficit of $4.3 billion in June, as exports shrank 17.3% from a year earlier, while imports contracted 7.5%, government data showed on Tuesday.

The value of imports PHIMP=ECI reached $9.87 billion while exports PHEXP=ECI totaled $5.57 billion, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.
