“Akala nila magkaka-away tayo!”
Comedians Vice Ganda, MC Muah Calaquian and Lassy Marquez put an end to “friendship over” rumors after MC and Lassy showed up to support her on the first night of the “Super Divas” concert with Regine Velasquez on Friday, August 8, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
In the past few months, rumors spread about a rift between the three friends after Vice called out MC during one of their out-of-town trips. Since then, MC and Lassy have not been seen on the noontime show “It’s Showtime” or at Vice Comedy Bar, which is owned by the Phenomenal Superstar.
“It’s Showtime” had previously marked the two as absent from the show.

At the concert, Vice spotted her two friends in the crowd while interacting with some of the concert-goers and had them dance to the tune of “Sumayaw Ka” by Gloc-9, who also made a special appearance that night.
“So you made it,” Vice said, teasing them.
“Bakit kayo nandito? Magagalit si Cristy Fermin! Akala nila magkaka-away tayo, sisirain ninyo ‘yung narrative. Mawawalan sila ng content,” she jokingly said, referring to entertainment columnist and host Cristy Fermin.
Cristy was among those who reacted after Vice posted on her YouTube channel a video showing her confronting MC, who was rumored to be the person she had been alluding to in some of her jokes on the noontime show.
But jokes aside, Vice asked why they were there, and MC replied,
“Siyempre hindi namin puwede ma-miss yung concert mo.”
Vice also let MC and Lassy greet the audience.
The two comedians spontaneously joined Vice Ganda during one segment, where she performed Filipino traditional dances with a modern twist.
“Super Divas” returns tonight, August 9, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, with local health app mWell as the co-presenter of the concert.
