(Updated 5:41 p.m.) The Department of Tourism (DOT) will hold a free live simulcast watch party at the Rizal Park Open Air Auditorium in Manila as SB19 becomes the first Filipino act to perform at the Lollapalooza music festival.
In a social media post, the DOT invited the public to gather at Luneta on Friday, July 31, from 1:30 a.m. to 6 a.m., to watch SB19’s performance on the Allianz Stage in Grant Park, Chicago.
Admission is free, although attendees are required to register in advance.
The event comes after the DOT named SB19 among its tourism ambassadors, alongside fellow P-pop group BINI.

There are also other watch parties across the Philippines posted by SB19 and DOT.
The excitement over SB19’s Lollapalooza debut has also reached the private sector. Puregold said all 300 slots for its “A’Tin A’Tin Lang” watch party at Puregold Qi Central were filled in less than 30 minutes.
“Join your clingy Ninang for an A’Tin A’Tin lang watch party, and let’s witness SB19’s historic performance at Lollapalooza! *goosebumps*” the announcement read.
Puregold Senior Marketing Manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad said the event reflects the company’s support for Filipino talent.
“We take pride in championing Filipino talent and celebrating every milestone that brings our country closer to the global stage,” she said.
SB19’s Lollapalooza appearance is among the performances that fans around the world can watch live from home after Disney+ Philippines and Hulu announced in May that they would livestream the festival globally for the first time. There will be no replay of the stream.

The DOT encouraged attendees to come early, bring fellow A’TIN, and join the crowd in watching “Filipino talent shine on the world stage” together.
