— The Philippines posted a trade deficit PHTBAL=ECI of $4.9 billion for June, preliminary official data showed on Thursday.

Imports PHIMP=ECI in June rose 19.6% from a year earlier to $13.7 billion, while exports PHEXP=ECIincreased by 24.1% to $8.8 billion, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.
