MANILA, Philippines — A total of 51 newly-promoted Philippine Army generals donned their new ranks in a short ceremony at Army headquarters in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City Friday.
Army spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Ray Tiongson said three officers were promoted to lieutenant general, seven to major general, and 41 to brigadier general.
They were given full military honors, after which they paid a courtesy call on Army commander, Lieutenant General Rolando Joselito D. Bautista.
Promoted to lieutenant general are: Carlito G. Galvez, Rafael C. Valencia, and Benjamin C. Madrigal.
Promoted to major general were: Ronnie S. Evangelista, Felimon T. Santos Jr., Arnel B. dela Vega, Casiano C. Monilla, Isidro L. Purisima, Macairog S. Alberto, and Rizaldo B. Limoso.
