In his return to Star, Ricardo Ratliffe is aware that he has unfinished business to take care of.

The Best Import frontrunner has been stellar for the Hotshots who reached the Oppo PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinals.

The Korean League veteran has yet to drop a game since coming back to the Philippines, making his Star squad one of the favorites to win the crown.

On Wednesday, Ratliffe and the Hotshots swept the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters to extend their win streak to five games with the balik-import.

It’s a stark contrast of his first tour of duty with the Hotshots in the Commissioner’s Cup last year. They finished No.8 in the eliminations and was ousted by San Miguel in the quarterfinals.

“When we play Star Hotshots basketball, you can expect it to be a pretty easy game,” said Ratliffe, who poured in another monster game of 26 points and 24 rebounds in the series-clinching win against Rain or Shine.

Ratliffe said he’s ready to face the challenge in his rematch with San Miguel.

“Of course, I like our chances. I felt like I’m on to help the team win a championship. I feel like we’re getting better every game,” he said.

“It would be a tough one. We just have to do it collectively, especially on defense because that’s our only chance of beating San Miguel.”
