The much awaited summary of everything we enjoyed on video sharing platform YouTube all year is out and has gained more than 20 million views in under 15 hours since posting.

The eight minute-long “YouTube Rewind” stars actor Will Smith and some of the most visible real and fictional YouTube creators. At the start of the video, Smith declares that this year, everyone has a say on what would be featured on Rewind.

Some of the “videos, music and trends that defined YouTube in 2018” include:

Fortnite. It is one of the year’s most popular video games where players around the world competed in Battle Royale mode. Fortnite “gained the record for most videos related to the video game uploaded in a single month” in February.

Kylie Jenner. The “Keeping up with the Kardashians” star published a video revealing her pregnancy. It eventually became the No. 1 trending video of 2018.

SpaceX. Elon Musk’s project became the second biggest live stream on the platform ever as his company, SpaceX, launched the Falcon Heavy rocket.

Royal Wedding. When Meghan Markle’s Hollywood sparkle forged with Prince Harry’s aristocratic charm, it generated more than 11 million views to set the single day record for live views in 2018.

“Idol” by BTS. The K-pop sensation’s well produced music video became YouTube’s biggest 24-hour debut with more than 45 million views.

Viral dances. “Baby Shark” and Drake’s “In My Feelings” were two of the most trending dance tracks of the year, garnering billions of views between them.
