Kris Aquino is returning to the spotlight in a new role, this time as Netflix’s resident content critic.
The “Queen of All Media” was introduced as the streaming platform’s official C.H.I.K.A., or Chief Head of Insights and Kontent Analysis, in a promotional video where she takes on a fictional office role reviewing and giving feedback on Filipino titles available on Netflix.

In the video, Kris begins her “first day on the job” with editor Earljohn, where she evaluates clips featuring different scenes — from a snowy winter sequence to an intense fight scene and a styling mishap.
She then shares her suggestions to improve scenes from “A Secret in Prague,” “Blood vs Duty,” and “The Master Cutter,” helping turn moments from “nakakaloka!” to “love, love, love!”
The project marks another public appearance for Kris, who has been away from regular showbiz engagements while focusing on her health. Her recent appearances have drawn attention from fans who have been eager to see her back on screen.
In June, Kris made a rare live television appearance, which was met with excitement from fans who shared their happiness over seeing her again. She also recently made headlines after joking about Ryzza Mae Dizon becoming her future daughter-in-law during an appearance on “Eat Bulaga.”

Kris has long been recognized as one of the country’s most prominent media personalities, earning the moniker “Queen of All Media” through her decades-long career as a host, actress and endorser.
Her signature candid style and expressive reactions became a defining part of her public image, particularly during her years hosting talk shows and entertainment programs.
Through Netflix’s C.H.I.K.A. role, Kris brings that familiar personality to the streaming platform as she shares her take on local content and its presentation.
The featured Filipino titles, along with more local shows and films, are now available on Netflix.
