The Department of Tourism (DOT) is tapping the reach of P-Pop groups BINI and SB19 to encourage fans to explore more destinations across the Philippines through newly launched dedicated travel microsites.

The microsites feature the dream destinations of each BINI and SB19 member, along with discounted travel packages to those locations available exclusively through DOT-accredited partners via the tourism.gov.ph website.

The initiative also gives fans ways to interact with their idols. BINI fans, or BLOOMs, can submit #BloomTrails featuring photos and captions of their favorite destinations or places the group members dream of visiting.

Meanwhile, SB19 fans, known as A’TIN, can leave short dedication messages alongside their favorite song from the group.

The launch comes after teasers posted on the official Tourism Philippines social media accounts sparked excitement among the two groups’ fanbases on Monday night, August 10.

According to the DOT, the posts generated more than a hundred thousand engagements on Facebook in less than 24 hours.

Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay said the project highlights how Filipino artists can influence audiences, drive travel and contribute to local economies.

“Pinoy talents like BINI and SB19 are very much able to influence audiences, drive travel, and generate real economic activity wherever they go,” she said.

She said that fans traveling because of their interest in an artist can contribute to various parts of the tourism industry, from hotels and restaurants to local attractions and communities.

The microsites are part of the second phase of the DOT’s “Discover More To Love” domestic tourism campaign, which was launched in June 2026. The campaign seeks to make domestic travel more accessible through discounted fares, hotel rates, and attraction fees while encouraging Filipinos to explore destinations within the country.

The DOT also aims to strengthen demand across the tourism value chain by supporting airlines, hotels, tour operators, attractions and other tourism stakeholders as they navigate the continuing impact of elevated international fuel costs.

The partnership between the DOT and the two P-Pop groups builds on their respective roles as Tourism Ambassadors. Since their ambassadorship announcements, BINI and SB19 have worked with the department to promote Philippine destinations through their local and international activities.
