Eva Le Queen snagged an award at a drag convention in the United States.
Eva, a finalist of season 1 of “Drag Race Philippines,” is named the “Best Beauty Guru Award” at the 2023 Wowie Awards at RuPaul’s DragCon LA on May 13.
She bested the following big names in the beauty scene:
- Abby Roberts
- Bosco
- Emira D’spain
- Gigi Gorgeous
- Silky Nutmeg Ganache
- Sminty Drop
- Julie Vu
In a tweet, Eva expressed how proud she was of the recognition.

Her fans later showered her with congratulatory remarks on Twitter.
“Dasurv! Face card that never declined,” a fan tweeted.
“Congratulations Queen Eva!” another fan said on Twitter.
Marina Summers and Precious Paula Nicole also won at the drag awards show. Marina was named the “Wowlebrity on the Rise” and Precious was the “Breakout Star.”

The Wowie Awards is annual awards show organized by World of Wonder (WOW), the home network of the popular drag franchise.
In a separate tweet, Eva expressed gratitude to her family and to her fans, whom she interacted with at the massive drag event in the US.
“After all the madness I just want to say that I had the best time of my life with my family. It just blows my mind to think that this was beyond our wildest dreams a few years back. And to know that Filipino drag is LOVED AND RAVED all the way here. Thank you everyone!” she said.
