An old photo of Rep. Arjo Atayde (Quezon City, First District) with actress Sue Ramirez was brought up on Facebook after the actor made headlines for recently tying the knot with Maine Mendoza.
The verified Facebook page of the actor-politician on Jan. 14, 2019 posted a picture of him wrapping Sue with his arm with emojis for its caption.
The emojis were a red heart, a kissing face, and a smiling face-with-revolving hearts.
It was also accompanied by an in-line text that reads: “pag natagpuan, ‘wag pakawalan…”
The post has amassed 427,000 pure laughing reactions, 79,000 shares, and over 39,000 comments since it was uploaded.
It recently went viral anew when Facebook users began commenting on it following Arjo’s nuptial to Maine on July 28.
“Best wishes,” a Pinoy wrote on Tuesday, August 1.
“Best wishes poooo,” another Facebook user said with hugging and heart hands emojis.
“Ok, best wishes,” wrote a different user.
Arjo married Maine in a star-studded wedding at Baguio City after the actress went public with their relationship in 2019.
Their nuptial was dismissed by some diehard AlDub (Alden Richards and Maine’s Yaya Dub) fans who falsely believed that the actor married a “clone” of Maine.

Maine was previously part of the onscreen AlDub tandem that appeared in “Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye” segments from 2015 to 2016.

Maine and Alden have both denied claims of being together in real life. They also stressed that they do not have children, unlike what some AlDub fans claim.
Alden’s father has also dismissed such false claims on Twitter, saying that his son does not have a wife or a child.
By mid-2018, Maine and Alden went their separate ways to pursue solo projects, officially putting an end to the AlDub tandem.
Meanwhile, Sue and Arjo starred in ABS-CBN’s 2017 teleserye “Hanggang Saan” where they played the role of the lovers Anna and Paco, respectively.
Rumors swirled that the two began dating in real life, but this was quashed by Sue in 2018.
“Nung nagka-show po kami ni Arjo, may girlfriend po siya nung time na ‘yun,” the actress said before.
“And wala, sobrang close lang kami talaga, kaya siguro na-isyu kami,” Sue added.
“Hanggang Saan” aired from 2017 to 2018.
Sue is currently dating actor and Victorias City Mayor Javi Benitez of Negros Occidental.
