Last month, food brands launched delightful snack choices for the warm and dry season.
DQ’s Mint Choco Medley series
Dairy Queen (DQ) is known for all-time favorite ice cream flavors like vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and cookies and cream, but in April, it launched something new, its mint chocolate medley series.
For starters, it introduces the following:
- Mint Choco Chip Blizzard – made with DQ’s vanilla soft serve mixed with refreshing mint and crunchy chocolate chunks
- Mint Oreo Blizzard – Made with DQ’s signature vanilla soft serve, refreshing mint, and crushed Oreo cookies
- Mint Brownie Blizzard – Made with the brand’s signature vanilla soft serve mixed with refreshing mint and chewy brownies
Aside from the Blizzards, it also launched Mint Brownie Chip Parfait, made with layers of its signature vanilla soft serve, refreshing mint, cocoa fudge, and chewy brownies, and then topped with whipped cream and mint syrup.
To beat the heat, DQ also offers the new Choco Mint Milkshake, a
velvety smooth blended drink made with its signature vanilla soft serve mixed with slush, mint, and cocoa fudge, and then topped with whipped cream and mint syrup.
To round up the list of cold desserts, it introduced the Mint Oreo Tin Cake, a 100-percent ice cream cake made with its vanilla soft serve, refreshing mint, and crushed Oreos, all contained in a reusable to-go tin can, as well as its new Mint Choco Brownie Blizzard Cake, available in 6-inch and 8-inch variants. The offering is a 100-percent ice cream cake made with its vanilla soft serve, mixed with refreshing mint and chewy brownies, with a layer of cake crunch and chocolate fudge.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate bar
If the sweet, cold treats are not enough, you can indulge in the sweetness of the OG Cadbury chocolate bar.
The chocolate brand made its chocolate bar even more accessible to Filipinos and announced that its Dairy Milk Chocolate bar is now available at sari-sari stores nationwide for P8.
“Cadbury believes that everyone, especially Filipinos, deserves to eat chocolate and experience the everyday indulgence chocolate provides. This affordable Cadbury Sulit Pack makes that possible. We’re bringing the smooth taste of Cadbury Dairy Milk to sari-sari stores, right at the center of our local communities for only 8 pesos”, Allana Paz, Assistant Brand Manager, Cadbury Philippines, said.

Tangy Tuna Sub
In the same month, Subway introduced its new Tangy Tuna Sub, featuring a delightful blend of roasted garlic, lemon, and herbs seasoning.
For those with a bigger appetite, this flavorful sub is also available in a footlong variant.
Summer drinks
This summer, Del Monte Juice Drinks is serving up more than just refreshment. It is fueling your glow-up from the inside out with offerings packed with real fruit and antioxidant Vitamin C.
Aside from its classic pineapple orange, pineapple strawberry and white grapes flavors, Del Monte Juice Drinks also has new blends of melon cucumber and pineapple blueberry.
The brand is also bringing its drinks to Boracay from May 2 to 4 and Panglao, Bohol, from May 16 to 18 for its activations. During which, visitors can score free samples, limited-time bundles, and giveaways.
