It’s a “No Bag Challenge” on another level.

A teacher of a state-run school in South Cotabato shared a video of students accepting the “no bag challenge” and showing off their improvised bags with flair.

Mathematics Teacher Leomar John Basa on September 20 uploaded a TikTok clip of students from the Silway-8 National High School with the text: “10-Emerald (No Bag Challenge).” It was accompanied by a laughing-with-tears emoji.

Basa also edited the post to include a remix credited to John Cabrera.

The video showed students making an entrance to their classroom with items improvised to serve as their temporary bags in the “No Bag Challenge.”

The challenge, famous across schools, invites the academic community to bring their things in a creative way by temporarily foregoing their traditional bags.

It usually lasts for a day.

Meanwhile, Basa’s video has earned 566,100 hearts and a whopping number of 7.9 million views on TikTok alone.

The video was also reposted by some amused Filipinos on Facebook.

While the concept of the “challenge” is not new, Basa’s video gained traction for making students appear as if they were on a runway.

“Sa dami ko nakita na ganito, ito ‘yong pinakaiba sa lahat, galing,” a TikTok user commented.

Basa also uploaded an unedited version of the video where there was no music.
