In the spirit of sisterhood, the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization extended its heartfelt congratulations to its past candidates Dia Remulla Maté, Krishnah Gravidez and Patricia Bianca Tapia for winning crowns in Miss World Philippines (MWP) 2024.

They will soon represent the Philippines in three international pageants. Dia won the Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas title, Bianca was crowned Miss Tourism Philippines and Krishnah bagged the MWP crown.

The MUPH organization congratulated its former contestants in a Facebook post on Saturday.

“You will always be a part of the Miss Universe Philippines sisterhood and we know you will make our country proud,” it said.

MWP’s Facebook page also commented on MUPH’s post, dropping three blue heart emojis.

3 titles won

On May 22, Dia, granddaughter of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla and girlfriend of Juan Karlos Labajo, represented Cavite in MUPH. Bianca, on the other hand, represented the Filipino community in Hawaii and was a Top 20 finalist in the same pageant.

‘Redirected’

Pageant fans celebrated the queens’  MWP triumph as they believe their wins were mere redirection.

“Krishnah was not destined for the Miss Universe crown but was redirected to Miss World. Return the blue crown to the Philippines,” a Facebook user wrote with emojis of a smiling face with hearts.

“The queens were just redirected,” another online user wrote with a crown emoji.

“Maybe Krishnah can reignite my passion for pageants!” a pageant enthusiast commented.

It will hold its 72nd competition at the beginning of 2025, with Krishnah representing the Philippines.
