‘The Broken Marriage Vow’ bags 6 wins at Asian Academy Creative Awards 2022

The Broken Marriage Vow” reaped six awards at the 2022 Asian Academy Creative Awards. 

The ABS-CBN‘s television series based on the British drama “Doctor Foster was named Best Adaptation of an Existing Format, Dreamscape Entertainment revealed on Friday, September 30. 

Lead star Jodi Sta. Maria, who played the role of doctor Jill Ilustre, was also recognized as Best Actress in a Leading Role.  

Meanwhile, Zaijian Jaranilla, who portrayed the role of Gio, Jill’s son, won the Best Actor in the Supporting Role category. 

The series also won Best Editing and Best Promo or Trailer. 

Morisette Amon’s “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw” was also recognized as Best Theme Song. 

On Twitter, Jodi expressed how grateful she was. 

“You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I can ask or think. I believe I haven’t scratched the surface of the vision, purpose, and plan You have for me,” the actress said

“I have only tasted a small portion and seen a tiny glimpse of the life You want to give me. I am speechless and amazed,” she added

The show follows the story of Jill, a loving wife and mother, whose family is rocked by her husband’s affair with Lexy, her friend’s daughter.

Jill’s husband, David, is played by Zanjoe Marudo, while Sue Ramirez plays Lexy.

Other cast members include Jane Oineza, Joem Bascon, Art Acuña, Rachel Alejandro, Angeli Bayani, Ketchup Eusebio, Bianca Manalo, Empress Schuck, and Ronnie Lazaro.
