DPWH to conduct weekend road repairs in QC

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways will undertake road reblocking and repairs starting 11 p.m. Friday night, May 12, until Monday, May 15, in Quezon City.

Affected are the following areas:

SOUTHBOUND:

  1. EDSA before Dario Bridge, Quezon City (first lane)
  2. C-5 Road before Lanuza Ave., Pasig City

NORTHBOUND:

  1. Mindanao Ave. between Old Sauyo Road and Mindanao Tunnel, Quezon City (second lane)
  2. Commonwealth Ave. between Litex Road and Doña Carmen, Quezon City (fifth lane)
  3. Quirino Highway between Bernardino St. and T. Urbano, Quezon City (second lane)
  4. Congressional Ave. Ext. between Tandang Sora Ave. and Luzon Ave., Quezon City (third lane)

All affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday. Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and use alternative routes instead.
