The Comelec has partnered with Megaworld Lifestyle Malls to make voter registration more accessible ahead of the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE). This initiative is part of Comelec’s “Special Register Anywhere Program (SRAP)”, which aims to assist qualified individuals who are unable to register in their place of residence.
It also aims to encourage wider public participation, especially among the youth who will be voting for the first time.
“Facilitating accessible voter registration is a vital step toward strengthening civic engagement,” Graham Coates, First Vice President and Head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, said.
“Through this partnership with Comelec, we aim to encourage greater participation by making registration more convenient for the public,” he added.
Through the partnership, eligible Filipino citizens can register at the following participating malls from August 6 to 10:
- Lucky Chinatown Mall (2nd Floor, Prosperity Wing) – August 6 to 10
- Eastwood City (Cyber & Fashion Mall, Atrium) – August 6 to 7
Booths will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Applicants are required to download and print the form back-to-back on folio-sized bond paper (8.5” x 13”).
The poll body has also released a consolidated schedule for voter registration, including designated satellite registration sites. These sites will accept various registration concerns, such as:
- Change of name and status
- Correction of entries
- Reactivation of registration records
- Transfer from overseas to local registration only
The BSKE will be held on Dec. 1, 2025.
