Miss Universe Philippines Cebu Province 2023 bet Emmanuelle Vera reminded her followers and other social media users to be kind to each other following the conclusion of the national beauty pageant this last weekend.

The Cebuana beauty took to Instagram to express her gratitude to her supporters and the people behind her team who helped her in her journey as a Miss Universe Philippines bet, dedicating three posts to appreciate their efforts.

She also shared a reminder to the online community post-coronation.

“I want to remind everyone that the space I have cultivated here is one of love, peace, and kindness, and hate or bashing of any form is not tolerated. We can celebrate one person without dragging down or attacking another,” Emmanuelle said with a white heart emoji.

The singer-actress was referring to the comments section of her public posts, where anyone with Instagram access can comment or share a thought or opinion.

Last week, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee also addressed social media users throwing shade at her and fellow candidate, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Bohol Pauline Amelinckx.

“We’re all technically sisters here. We’ve spent months together,” Michelle, then a Miss Universe Philippines Makati 2023 bet, said before.

“In the case of me and Pauline, we’ve spent the whole year together. So, we’re basically really, really good friends,” she added.

“So if there’s anything, I just really hope that people understand that and be more conscious about what they say, especially online,” Michelle continued.

She also called on her fans to “spread the love” and “make love, and not war.”

Meanwhile, Emmanuelle in her Instagram post said that she appreciates everyone’s messages especially “in a difficult time.”

“Mental health is something I advocate strongly for, and I hope you’ll allow me the measures I need to seek the recovery and healing I, as all living beings, deserve. With all my heart, thank you,” she said with a hugging emoji.

Emmanuelle previously represented the Philippines in the 2021 Reina Hispanoamericana in Bolivia, where she finished as third runner-up.
