The award-winning 29-year old actor has gained Filipino fans for his lead roles in popular Korean dramas such as “Dream High,” “The Producers,” “Moon Embracing the Sun,” and “My Love From the Star.”
Before an audience, some of whom were screaming “oppa!” or “saranghae,” Soo Hyun shared that it was not his first time in the country, and that he was thankful to be back.
The actor expressed his gratitude to his local fans through an interpreter, “I came here in the Philippines when I was still young and now I’ve got this opportunity to be here for this event. Since I arrived at the airport, everyone is very welcoming. Thank you for your love and support, and I hope everyone will spend a great time here (tonight).”
When host Sam Oh asked him what keeps him busy nowadays, Soo Hyun shared that he recently finished filming his new movie entitled Real, and is going around to promote it.
The film’s expected release in South Korea is on June 2017.
Before ending his brief appearance at the event, Soo Hyun left a message to millions of his Filipino fans.”Thank you for your love and support from afar. It’s not quite far but here in the Philippines, thank you for your love and support. Together with the Samsung QLED TV launch, I hope your expectations for our movie will be real, too,” he said.
Samsung’s QLED TV boasts of Quantum Dot Technology, which enables a display of colors as they are in the real world. It offers HDR 1500 brightness and 100% color volume expression
Samsung Product Marketing Head for AV Jun Guevarra shared in a presentation, “A high quality TV must be able to produce precise colors regardless of the lighting condition. The degree to which a TV express color in relation to light is called color volume. I’m proud to say that Samsung QLED TV is the only TV that can show 100% color volume. This means that no matter how bright the lighting conditions are, you will see the exact shade of color as it was meant to be seen.”
Guevarra also added that they have improved the viewing angle so viewers get the perfect picture no matter where they sit or stand.
“I believe that with the Samsung QLED TV, the debate over picture quality is already over,” he said.
QLED TV’s sleek design also eliminates the mess of too many cables. It only uses one cable that is hardly visible. Its design also gives the user the option to either mount it or put it on the stand.
To perfectly blend to a stylish space, the QLED TV offers the no-gap wall mount, which has reduced the thickness to the usual mounts.
On the other hand, for those who like to put it on a stand, Samsung gives you the option of a studio stand, which allows you to place it anywhere in your house; or the gravity stand, which allows you to adjust and swivel your TV left and right.
QLED TV also comes with a One Remote Control, which covers all connected devices, and enables users to have an easier time in navigating whether they want to play games, watch, or stream shows.
“The QLED TV is the answer to all your lifestyle and entertainment needs. We believe that TV is simply smarter than smart. We at Samsung will always try to pave the way for technological innovations and we believe that in QLED TV, we have done it again,” Guevarra concluded.
