Did Kapuso actress Sarah Lahbati take a dig against her mother-in-law in a social media post about the viral P299 engagement ring issue?
A screengrab of what appeared to be a layout from the X (formerly Twitter) platform featured the actress’ name, picture and username with the following supposed post:
“I’m totally fine with an engagement ring that’s worth P299. The cost isn’t a big deal for me. The most important thing is that my husband loves me deeply. Basta hindi lang si Annabelle Rama ang magiging biyenan ko at hindi naman mama’s boy ang mapapangasawa ko.”

The post is fabricated as Sarah has no account in the X platform under the @sarahlahbati username, as suggested by the quote card.
Her Instagram profile has similar credentials, although the actress has no Instagram post bearing such words or caption.
This was not the first time Sarah was victimized by fake quote cards.
Late last year, she denied posting against her mother-in-law Annabelle Rama and accusing her husband, actor Richard Gutierrez, of being “brainwashed” by his mother.
The actress had hoped it was the last time she would debunk something.

Sarah recently made buzz after eagle-eyed internet users noticed that she is no longer following her husband and some members of the Gutierrez family on Instagram.
Both of them have yet to confirm months-long rumors of separation between each other.
Annabelle previously shared Richard has been living with her and that she was not on speaking terms with her daughter-in-law.
