Amid the praises for the new series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” Miles Ocampo took the spotlight for her lauded acting performance.

Miles portrayed the character of young Marites, who was sexually assaulted by a fugitive named Ramon, played by Coco Martin. This resulted in a conception.

Marites attempted to abort her child but she was stopped by her mother named Tindeng, portrayed by Lara Quigaman

Marites later gave birth in a wet market alone.

The mother initially decided to abandon her child but when a woman attempted to take her child, she resisted and uttered the now famous line: “Anak ko ‘yan.”
