“Dolly de Leon hive rise!”

The Academy Award-nominated satire “Triangle of Sadness” featuring the Philippines’ very own Dolly de Leon is now streaming on the video-on-demand platform of Amazon.

Prime Video Philippines shared the iconic clip of the veteran actress uttering her famous one-liner “Who am I?” as toilet manager-turned-survivalist Abigail asserts herself to her wealthier companions while stranded on an island.

“Yes, sir. Yes, ma’am! Triangle of Sadness is the most-watched movie on Prime PH today! Dolly de Leon hive rise!” the platform announced on March 10.

The streaming platform also shared another longer teaser from the Oscar-nominated film with the caption: “We’re only allowed to say, ‘yes,’ here. Relax, enjoy the cruise, hold on to your champagne. Yes?”

Pinoys can subscribe to the video-on-demand platform for a promo price of P149 per month. This will last until December 31, 2023.

Meanwhile, the Cannes-winning film tells a story of how a social hierarchy is turned upside down and how this exposes the tawdry relationship between power and beauty.

Part of its synopsis reads:

“Celebrity model couple, Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean), are invited on a luxury cruise for the uber-rich, helmed by an unhinged boat captain (Woody Harrelson). What first appeared instagrammable ends catastrophically, leaving the survivors stranded on a desert island and fighting for survival.”

It features the groundbreaking breakthrough performance of Dolly who has earned nominations from the Golden Globe Awards and the British Academy Film Awards for her acting.
